Camp Manager

Maximum Surfcamp is looking for a Camp Manager to join the team.

Key areas of responsibility
• supervice and employ staff
• marketing tasks (merchandising, press releases, flyers etc.)
• general office work (take phone calls, take care of bookings etc.)
• plan side events and take care of the weekly program
• take care of the stock and make orders (surfboards, wetsuits etc.)
• welcome the camp guests, socializing with the guests
• communicate with the media
• responsible for the maintenance of camp facilities (incl. bikes, cars)

Job requirements
• strong organizational and communication skills
• minimum of 5 years working experience
• experience in the tourism branch and/or in a surfcamp is a plus
• catering experiences preferable
• must be fluent in german and english, portuguese desirable, if not willing to
learn it
• capable of multi-tasking, flexible
• outgoing person, team player
• good knowledge of computer programs (Mac)
• understanding of the international/German surfing market
• Surf instructor certification is a plus

Location: Baleal, Leiria, Portugal
Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: Permanent
