The winter in Peniche rules!
The beaches around the two peninsulas of Peniche and Baleal, 60 miles north of Lisbon, rate among the most consistent and best surfspots in Europe. In a radius of less than 15 miles you find about 40 different „cranking“ surfspots, including the world-famous Supertubos. The vast variety of waves serves bigwave-junkies, soulsurfers and beginners alike. The exposed location of the Peniche/ Baleal peninsulas sucks in even the tiniest swells and with beaches facing north,south and west it's really „always offshore“ and never flat in Peniche!

With our new Surf-Vans and 11 years of experience and local knowledge we can quickly reach the right spot at the right time!
Our camp is located only a 5 minute walk from several beaches, including the famous lefthand reefbreak Lagido, the north facing beachbreak Prainha, and the west facing beach Cantinho.
We offer typical portuguese-style apartments, fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom and livingroom (with Cable-TV and DVD).
Our inner courtyard is the perfect place for a relaxed BBQ or simple chill-out, from our roof-terrace you can check the surf or enjoy the sunset.
In our camp-bar you can get everything from breakfast (cereals, sandwiches, fruitsalads etc.) to little snacks and hot and cold drinks (including the tasty local milk-coffee „galao“ and of course „cerveja“). Here you can send your mails about perfect waves to your friends at home, or check the latest swell-forecast on our iMacs.
Furthermore, guests of Maximum Surfcamp get discounts at the 'Peniche Surfshop' and 'FATUM Surfboards' in Peniche.
Our Bling Bling Surflessons:
Our surf-lessons are designed to improve your personal level of surfing, whether you are a complete beginner or have already gained some experience on a surfboard.
During 5 days and a total of 25 hours of practical and theoretical lessons we lead beginners from the basic take-off in the whitewater to a controlled take-off in green waves. The more advanced among you will work on basic manoveurs and be able to try different board-sizes. All our practical lessons are accompanied by theoretical units such as safety rules, the development of waves, how to deal with currents, or priority rules in the line-up, among others.
In addition to our professional teaching on the beach and in the water you get an effective video-feedback twice a week.
After our daily surfchecks we take you right to the best spots in our surf-vans.
Surflessons include:
- 7 Days of accommodation in our camp-apartments (preferably sunday to sunday)
- 25 hours of intensive practical and theoretical lessons
- professional teaching by internationally qualified surfing instructors
- Transportation to the best spots in our new vans
- twice a week video-feedback
- Softdeck- or Hardboards (depending on your level), Wetsuits (Fullsuits) during lessons and for free use on the weekends
- Bodyboards, Skateboards and Surfvideos for free use
- optional: internet, washing machine, beachcruiser (bike)
- free transportation from and to Peniche busstation on day of arrival/ departure

Bling Bling Surfguiding was designed for advanced surfers who don't want to spend their holdidays wasting precious time by checking the wrong spots at the wrong time, and instead find and surf as many perfect waves as possible. Take advantage of our local experience that we have gained over the past 11 years and check out our following offers:
The Bling Bling Surfguiding includes the following services:
- Accommodation in the Maximum Surfcamp for 7 nights (preferably sunday to sunday)
- 6 Days guided tours to the best surf spots in and around Peniche (2 sessions per day)
- Transfer from/to the Peniche Bus station (on date of arrival/departure)
- 7 Days beach cruiser (bicycle) rental
- Visit of 'FATUM Surfboards', factory and showroom
