Perfect waves, empty line-ups, mild temperatures: Winter in Peniche rocks!

The spots around the peninsulas Peniche and Baleal are some of the most constant and best spots throughout Europe, located only 90 km north of Lisbon. There are around 40 different surf spots with crankin' waves in the reach of only 20 km so that no level of experience misses out! The icing on the cake is that it's always offshore – the area has it all: beaches directing to the north, west, and south.

In case the swell is too big, you can always find a sheltered spot with clean waves. And when the big lake out there literally turns into one we will check out our secret spots.

Our surfer vans and 13 years of local experience allow us to be at the right spot at the right time, quickly and spontaneously.  

The camp is located only 300 m from the beach – only about a 5 minutes walk. It consists of cosy apartments containing sleeping rooms, a living room (incl. DVD/ TV), a kitchen, and a bathroom. The courtyard invites to chill and grill and from the roof-deck you can check the surf or enjoy the sunset.

A rich brekkie and delicious 'galão' are offered in the camp bistro where you can also check your emails at our iMac.

Bling Bling Courses:

All our courses aim to improve your personal surfing skills, no matter if its your first try or if you already have got encountered the mother of all board sports. The 5-day course (25 hours of classes in total) leads beginners to a save take-off, first in white water and later in green waves. The more advanced surfers practice basic manoeuvre and get the chance to try different board sizes.
In our theoretical classes you can gain useful knowledge about safety rules, correct behaviour in the water, wave development and much more. Twice a week, we make a professional and effective video analysis.
In the mornings, we drive you in our surfer vans directly to the best spots after we have checked them carefully.

The courses contain:

• 7 nights accommodation in Maximum Surfcamp (preferably Sunday to Sunday)
• 25 hours of lessons (practice + theory, Monday to Friday)
• Professional classes by internationally trained instructors
• Transport to the best sports in our surfer vans
• Video analysis, twice a week
• Soft boards for beginners, hard boards for intermediates, wetsuits (full-suits), during lessons + weekend (after course)
• Free usage of bodyboards, skateboards and surf movies
• Internet, washing machine, and beach cruiser bikes available
• Free shuttle to Peniche bus stop on day of arrival and departure

Bling Bling Guiding:

Bling Bling surf guiding addresses advanced surfers who don't want to waste their time for random, frustrating spot checks but who are up for the maximum surf experience of perfect waves. Due to 12 years of local experience it is as easy as that for us to take you to the right spot at the right time.

The guiding contains:

• 7 nights accommodation in Maximum Surfcamp (preferably Sunday to Sunday)
• 5 days of guided surf tours to the best spots around Peniche (two sessions per day)
• Free shuttle to Peniche bus stop on day of arrival and departure
• Free usage of beach cruiser bike
• Trip to Fatum Surfboard Factory
• Free usage of Internet or WLAN
• Free usage of skateboards and surf movies

In addition, our Bling Bling surf guiding visitors get the opportunity to try hand shaped Fatum surfboards!
