Maximum Surfcamp offers separate surf courses for beginners and advanced surfers.


Beginners Surf Course

Target group: absolute beginners with no surfing experience at all to three-day surf course experience

The beginners surf course is designed to introduce beginners step by step to the theoretical and practical basics of surfing. Basic practical goals of the beginners surf course are learning how to take off in white water, getting to know diving techniques, and finally taking off in unbroken waves.

Besides that you will learn about the development of waves and currents and how to handle them correctly. In the beginner surf course we also focus on increased supervision in the water for your safety.

The beginners surf course starts on Monday and finishes on Friday and includes 5 hours / day. In the beginner surf course soft boards are used to guarantee a safe start. The equipment is available during class and on the weekends.



Advanced Surf Course

Target group: advanced surfers confident in taking-off and riding in unbroken waves

In the advanced surf course we focus on intensified and individual coaching. Advanced techniques like bottom turn, cutback, and correct timing are elements of the advanced surf course. Hard boards of different sizes are available during the whole advanced surf course and can be chosen according to the surf conditions.

The advanced surf course starts on Monday and finishes on Friday. Local surf instructors will introduce and guide you to the most suitable surfspots in the area. The advanced surf course can be booked following the intermediate course or individually. The equipment is available throughout the whole week.
